A practitioner in the school of Black Sect Tantric Tibetan Buddhist (BTB) Feng Shui, Maureen Calamia is certified by the Long Island Feng Shui Institute, Oyster Bay, NY. She has attended special teachings by Grandmaster Thomas Lin Yun, founder of BTB Feng Shui and has learned her skills under teachers that were directly appointed by him.

Maureen has led workshops in local libraries, wellness centers and continuing adult education courses, at business meetings and has been a guest speaker at SUNY at Old Westbury.

As a successful marketing consultant of 20 years for Fortune 500 clients, she has developed powerful analytical skills, intuition and insight. But it was her passion for metaphysics and energy work that drew her to study Feng Shui. A healer at heart, she continues to study a wide range of spiritual practices including Eastern mysticism, Christianity, Native American shamanism, and Celtic paganism. With a background in dreamwork, tarot and Western astrology, Maureen has a unique blend of gifts to offer her clients.

Maureen has attended spiritual teachings by the His Holiness the Dalai Lama and His Holiness Lungtok Tenpei Nyima, spiritual leader of the Bon religion, indigenous to Tibet. Maureen’s mission in Feng Shui is to help clients create a supportive environment to build confidence, security, prosperity and happiness. She is a member of the International Feng Shui Guild.

A volunteer and Board Member at Sweetbriar Nature Center in Smithtown, NY, an environmental education and wildlife rehabilitation center, she deepens her connection to nature and the environment.

Maureen is available for residential, business, and non-profit consultations, as well as workshops.
