A practitioner in the school of Black Sect Tantric Tibetan
Buddhist (BTB) Feng Shui, Maureen Calamia is certified by the
Long Island Feng Shui Institute, Oyster Bay, NY. She has
attended special teachings by Grandmaster Thomas Lin Yun,
founder of BTB Feng Shui and has learned her skills under
teachers that were directly appointed by him.
Maureen has led workshops in local
libraries, wellness centers and continuing adult education
courses, at business meetings and has been a guest speaker at
SUNY at Old Westbury.
As a successful marketing consultant of 20 years for Fortune 500
clients, she has developed powerful analytical skills, intuition
and insight. But it was her passion for metaphysics and energy
work that drew her to study Feng Shui. A healer at heart, she
continues to study a wide range of spiritual practices including
Eastern mysticism, Christianity, Native American shamanism, and
Celtic paganism. With a background in dreamwork, tarot and
Western astrology, Maureen has a unique blend of gifts to offer
her clients.
Maureen has attended spiritual teachings by the His Holiness the
Dalai Lama and His Holiness Lungtok Tenpei Nyima, spiritual
leader of the Bon religion, indigenous to Tibet. Maureen’s
mission in Feng Shui is to help clients create a supportive
environment to build confidence, security, prosperity and
happiness. She is a member of the International Feng Shui Guild.
A volunteer and Board Member at Sweetbriar Nature Center in
Smithtown, NY, an environmental education and wildlife
rehabilitation center, she deepens her connection to nature and
the environment.
Maureen is available for residential,
business, and non-profit consultations, as well as workshops.
